Teen packing for vacation?

I'm going to Canada for 2 weeks. What should I bring and pack?

Halifax is in Nova Scotia - you are only going to one place hehe :)

Just to let you know, 20 degrees Celsius is about 68 degrees Farenheit which is decent weather. It should be warming up by the time you come, and the weather will get quite nice and hot. Halifax has wonderful weather in June but it can get rainy - it's right by the ocean, remember that! :)

Things to pack:

1.) a bathing suit - there's an ocean! perhaps there will be waterslides in your hotel as well

2.) jeans/long pants

3.) shorts

4.) tank tops/ long sleeve shirts/ hooded sweaters

5.) rain jacket in case it's rainy and you're out doing activities or touring

6.) sandals AND running shoes - don't forget either you need to be prepared for any type of weather (minus snow, it shouldn't snow this time of year)

7.) sunscreen and bug spray

8.) Canadian currency (although most places will accept American currency as well, it's handy to have some Canadian money for local shops who can't take American dollars)

9.) your camera - there's lots to see and remember when you go to Halifax

10.) your appetite - some of the best local fresh lobster you'll ever have in your life is waiting for you - try it, you'll love it

11.) proper identification, you don't need a passport to get into Canada until June of next year, but don't forget important I.D.

Those are some things that come to mind. Bring extra batteries for your mp3 player and camera. Remember to be prepared for different types of weather. Halifax is an amazing and beautiful city. I recommend you go to the pier/marina to see the large ships and sailboats there, as well as check out museums and any concerts that are on at the time you go.
