  1. You should have the options of homebound, cyberschooling, or homeschooling.  They are not the same.

A homebound student has a teacher that you visit with on occasion and get assignments.  This teacher oversees your work, but most of it is done independently.  You are still a public school student.

A cyberschooling student does work over a computer, via a charter school.  There are teachers that you can get in touch with to tutor you, if necessary.  You are still a public school student.

I am a homeschool parent, and in true homeschooling you are not a student of the local public school.  Your parents choose your curriculum, and so long as you follow the requirements of your state you are able to work at your own pace.  While I think it may be the best option for someone in your situation, if you plan to return to school it might make it more difficult-of course, you could always continue homeschooling (you CAN get into college).

They should not make you repeat the entire year, unless you do not keep up with your lessons.  Summer school may or may not be necessary, depending on how much time off you take-and while they are more flexible than traditional school, I am not sure just how flexible the first two options are.

Consult with your parents, guidance counselor and doctor.  You can come up with the best plan for you and your baby together.

    I wish you the best.

  2. Look into online classes.

  3. My sister had a baby at 15. She went to school up until 3 days before she had the baby. Most likely you wouldn't have to retake your school year depending on when you go back. If you don't go back at all for the rest of the year most likely you will have to retake it. It also depends on the school. At my school pregnant girls get a 2 month maternity leave I think it is. Kind of like when you are at work. Good Luck with the baby.

  4. I think it depnds on what kindof school you go to...I went to a small school..one of the girls in my senior class was pregnant..she got to come to school like every other day turn in her homework and pick up new homework..they let her finish her school year at home and she got to walk out with us at graduation...If you school is small and everyone is close then they  probally let u do it like the girl in my class..

  5. You should talk to your school because homeschool is an option...it was for me

  6. You can still go to school, and if the school tries to kick you out, you can sue.  or you can get your G.E.D.  I think the G.E.D option might be better in your situation because you can learn at your own pace.  Good luck with whatever you decide.

  7. I am going to be brutally honest with you. In the real  world women who have jobs do not get to just take maternity leave in their 8th month just because they want to. You do have the option (in most states) to do homeschool after the baby is born. And most places give you at least 3 months to do homeschool. But you need to stay in school until you deliver. School is not hard on your body and you have no reason to go on homebound before your delivery unless your doctor puts you on bedrest. You can get an excuse out of P.E. but you are going to have enough of a hard time getting back into school and into a routine after you've got a newborn. Don't make it harder on yourself by leaving school earlier than necessary. In the real world women with jobs work until their due date and then in most cases they have 6-8 weeks of maternity leave. I'm a high school teacher. When I had a baby I worked up until THE DAY I delivered. I literally went to school the day before my baby was born and had him the next day. Think about what you want to do. Stay in school, you can do it!
