Teen pregnacy..please help?

my friend is pregnant and needs an abortion. even though im against it shes my friend and needs me. we cannot tell her parents or they will disown her. please help me on figuring out what to do. (shes 16 lives in ny) will they let us do it without parental consent. where can it be done..please all information is greatly appreciated!

and please dont say tell someone cause thats not an option and please say dont get one done. thats not an option either.

most places now  adays you don't there are so many ways around it. like judicial bypass and if one parent is willing to concent than you can get it but in the ny you don't need it. both of the links will help you.

Im pretty sure in most states you dont need parental consent to have an abortion and it is confidential. It may cost money though. Just tell her to be sure that is what she wants before she does it because she may regret it later.

i dont know how much it cost there,

but i was thinking about getting one too.

cuz im only 17

and i look on the planned parenthood and the pill and the actual thing is about 350-900

and there is a limited time.

i dont know how far you can go

so do it quick

i know it a lot.

but after i was looking at that i didnt want that.

and plus i told my parents and they said it was up to me.

well honestly honey, the final decisions all rest in your friend's hands no matter what anyone else may feel. As far as getting an abortion w/o parental consent, i believe that's more of a 75% no no...BUT...she may be able to go to a clinic for the operation (but it is quite expensive plus the emotional aspects as well). This could be the only baby she can ever have...is she SURE she'd rather lose her baby than have disappointed parents?! P.S. i'm kind of in the same situation except I'm a married teen and we live together...GOOD LUCK
