Teen read recomendations?

So I've read quite a few books. I've read most of Caroline B. Cooney's books, but I'm tired of her. I've read the twilight series, harry potter, angel experiment series, the Uglies series, and etc. I'm not too much of a fan of vampires but I really enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, and realistic fiction. I don't want any books with teens having s*x.

  1. I'd recommend:

    "the golden compass"

"A series of Unfortunate Events" (you'll like this if you like harry potter)

    "Lovely Bones"

    "crank"

"buffy the vampire slayer" (book series)

you can search for these on amazon!  :)

  2. Ok, so hmmm....maybe A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray, or the Host by Stephenie Meyer (same author as Twilight) You've read Max. So I think that's about it. I would say The Luxe by Anna Goberson, but that get's close to your last condition....

  3. A Million Little Pieces. Its not exactly a teen book, but Im 17 with a short attention span and I loved it. Theres just a lot of language in it and the formats weird

    Every sentence.

    Is like this.

    Good luck!

  4. The clique novels are good! you should check them out because i like them and i like the uglies series too

  5. Ellen Hopkins is a really good author, i really enjoyed "impulse" by her.

Also i recommend Jodi Picoult "the tenth circle" is an amazing book.

"the perks of being a wallflower" is another one of my favorites as well.

  6. Piers Anthony's Xanth series.  It's a fantasy series.  Not swords and dragons adventure fantasy.  It's hard to describe.  They're light reads.  Full of puns.

Have you tried the alternate history genre?  Harry Turtledove has some excellent alternate history titles.  I loved "How Few Remain."  The South won the civil war.  If you're into history, this is the genre for you.

  7. I know what you did last summer

    Down a Dark Hall

    barcode tattoo

  8. There is a series of books written by Anne Brashares:

    - Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

    - The Second Summer of the Sisterhood

    - Girls in Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood

    - Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood

The first in the series was made into a movie, and the second is either in production of post production.  I haven't read the original book, but my sister did and said it was wonderful

  9. The Diary of a Teenage Girl series by Melody Carlson

there are different series within the series you can pick from.. I recommend the caitlin series.

they are quick reads, but they are really interesting

  10. um... narrowed down my choices.  but if you liked twilight and you like sci-fi, you would LOVE the host... and the mortal instruments series is super duper good... theres romance in both, but no s*x...

anyway... good luck, i hpe you find a book...
