Teen room black and white?

Question

I want to redo what used to be my "playroom" when i was younger. I was thinking along the lines of black, white, and hot hot pink...If you have any ideas/links theyt are much wanted. And along with any ideas, how do you think the colors will look together...It's going to be like a teen hangout for me and my girlies so it doesn't need to be designed with a guys interest. I'm 15 and ready to redo this unwanted playroom "/ suggestions...?

Oooh, I love it!! Why don't you use pink zebra print curtains and throw pillows in the same print + some silver and all black ones. I would add a deep shag area rug in white, too.

You could leave the walls white and use fun wall decals so you can change the look whenever you want for not a lot of $$. Or you could paint the walls a medium hot pink with white trim and use black accessories.

If you paint the walls pink, then you could go with black and white zebra curtains and get the black and white zebra High Heel chair to match. Whoo baby!! : P

if the walls are white, leave them white, but make your accessories black and hot hot pink...such as, a black couch with hot pink pillows and lamp shade...and black picture frames with a hot pink fluffy rug...and have a desk and some black and pink bean bags...if you make alot of things by yourself, it'll be cheaper and more personal...so hang posters, have a chalkboard or magnet board, (you can buy magnet and chalk paint and paint a piece of wood) a 3 for one deal that you made...have a TV and a magazine rack...=)

whatever you do, DON'T do black, there are many other colors that are punkish out there, black will make your room dark and unfriendly, unless you don't like people. then thats understandable. but try something like neutral colors. or really bright colors. it all depends on what personality you have.

I think it sounds good. The colours would be great together but if you don´t want it to be to "girlpunk" you should make like two walls white and one pink and one black. I would also just like to add that having a black room does´nt mean you don´t like people :S what kind of assumption is that?
