  1. Volleyball, water balloon toss, horseshoes for activities.

Teen movies - what was released 6 months ago that was popular.  Want to consider older movies, 16 candles is a classic.

Decorations - easy just go to a party store, you will find everything you need for a beach them, maybe a luau theme.

Food:  Grilled burgers and hot dogs, perfect beach food.  Many people pack picnic lunch type foods of fried chicken, cole slaw and potato salad, chips, baked beans, chocolate brownies.

option 2 - taco bar with crunchy taco shells, hamburger buns for taco burgers, chips, salsa, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, jalapenos, shredded lettuce.  Black beans or refriend beans, cheese sauce for chips, rice.

  2. For Decorations: I find that a beach theme ties in  with a tropical theme. Consider getting mangos and other tropical fruit to decorate the tables. You may not be able to have a bonfire but perhapse your folks would allow you to use the grill to make samores.

Movies: Any recent teen flick would work. My niece chose to play the jaws movies for her summer party becuse it involved the beach and water and was scary enough to allow her to invite guys without them getting bored and to use his should during some scenes.

Food: Chips burgers hot dogs. And you could always get some shrimp to cook up and serve but teens generaly love burgers and such.
