Question:

Teen travel purse?

My friend's daughter is travelling overseas this summer and she needs a money purse that doesn't look like it belongs to her grandmother. Her mother told me that she refuses to wear one of those under-your-clothes money belt/ pouches. A real belt might be okay but preferably some sort of un-slashable purse. Thanks for your help!

  1. which is more important to her... to be FASHIONABLE... or to NOT BE ROBBED?  Every year, a few thousand stupid AmeriKans are robbed because they treat their purses like they would in the jerkwater town they came from in AmeriKa and end up by BEING ROBBED.

Of course, being an AmeriKan, she probably thinks she is a world traveler, so I'm just wasting my warning.

  2. kipling makes great  travel purses in fun colors and styles they are a little pricey but well worth it

i think this is really cute, and im 14

i think you should get her this, =D

    hope i hellped

  4. It really does depend on which country she is going to and where within that country.

    Example:

Gorbals, Glasgow, Scotland....purse needed = stab-vest with pockets.

    Cambridge, England....purse needed = a $5000 clutch bag

Seriously, most Western European countries are far safer than the US, but like the US there are places that you really shouldn't go to at all. If she is going to poorer Eastern European countries, a under-your-clothes money belt will be fine.
