Teena Marina to surprise Romeo You Decide in 6th Britsh Bred Two Year Old Produce Stakes - Semi Final 2 at Swindon
Teena Marina’s confident is at a high after two brilliant performances. So, a chance can easily be taken on her in second semi-final of the 6th Britsh Bred Two Year Old Produce Stakes, taking place at Swindon on Wednesday, July 18th.
After performing quite well at Kinsley, the blue b***h came to this track on a high note. She made a wonderful solo outing over 480 metres, covering the distance in 29.10 seconds.
She perpetuated her good work to ensure a close victory in the opening round of the championship. A. Clarke’s charge defeated Bubbly Swallow by half a length to grab the top position.
He further raised her game, demonstrating an excellent show last week. The daughter of Droopys Scolari secured the first spot by 2¾ lengths. After a couple of wonderful acts, she is pumped up with confidence and thus, it is hard to overlook her chances.
Romeo You Decide will be the biggest threat to Teena Marina.
The black dog was a bit unlucky in the first round of the contest, when missing the first rank by one and a half lengths. He did not lose his determination, and raised his game to grab a classy victory last time around.
He led the race all the way through, bagging the first prize by 1¾ lengths. He boasts a strong profile, and will produce plenty of mess for Teena Marina.
Others in the crew are: Bubbly Swallow, Hedsor Arthur, Blackband Scamp and Lowdown. The £100 event will be kicked off at 20:22 GMT.
Blackband Scamp improved his work reasonably after a terrible show in the first round. Nonetheless, K. Turner’s trainee cannot be trusted blindly. Bubbly Swallow will be full of running in the latter stages, but luck is not on her side these days.
Lowdown showed decent early pace, but looks vulnerable here. Hedsor Arthur has not produced a flying time so far, and we don’t expect him to fire tonight.
Romeo You Decide is likely to attract a lot of punters, but according to our calculations, Teena Marina is a risk worth taking. Good luck to all the runners.
