My teenage daughter is about to get her drivers license. I have an existing home and auto policy with a major carrier. Does anybody know the best way to get my daughter coverage without her totally s******g my "safe" insurance record, history, rating and jacking up my premiums if (and when) she gets into an accident? Any help is appreciated !

  1. I'm not sure which co your with. But I just added mine. Talk with your agent. You said your home and car are with same ins co try adding umbrella  policy also. In todays world an umbrella policy is a good idea. It covers your home and auto.

Good luck hope you have a good agent...

  2. Try using http://My-InsuranceSearch.com to compare car insurance rates for all the major providers in your area.

  3. try comparing her insurance policy by herself then compare it to the policy you currently have if you add her on there, a great website i know of where you can compare policies is http://www.COMPAREusINSURANCE.com

  4. You may think about setting up a separate insurance policy and then add her to that one.
