Teenage Vampire Books?

Ok So I love Twilight series and Kissing Coffins and Cirque Du Freak and things like desolation angels (not a vampire book) but a good book. I want to read more but I can't find any good ones.

They are a little older and focus around adult themes, but I love all the following series

(Lena's mistaken) The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward, starting with Dark Lover

Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake Series

Lydsay Sand's vampire series

Maggie Shayne's new series, with Demon's kiss starting it

If you are also looking for other good series to read, but not necessarily vampires there are:

Laurell K Hamilton's Meredith Gentry series(all about faeries, it's really, really good)

Yasmine Galenorn's series is good, at least what I've read, but it has vampires, shapeshifters and witches in it, as well as dragons

Rebecca York writes a good one about werewolves.

The newest genre with all these books is called paranormal romance, and it's great, lol.

Oh your gonna LOVE this one. It's my runner up to twilight.

It's called the lover series!

The first book is called Dark Lover by J.R Ward.

Now I must warn you that it is sometimes NC17

but the storyline is AMAZING.

Theres 6 books currently and more to come.

Also I quite enjoy Angel. A great series to watch and read!

Anne Rice is the queen of vampire books. Check her out. But be prepared: you won't be able to put the books down!

Poppy Z. Bryte is a good author (Drawing Blood, Lost Souls) You can also try Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Uninvited is really good.

The Silver Kiss is good.

Blood and Chocolate is about werewolves but its good.

Im 19 but I like YA books.

If you are older and allowed to read adult books there is a series by Lyndsay Sands. The first book I read is called Bite me if you can.

I LOVED it. Its sorta like an adult version of Twilight.

There is a lot of sexually descriptive scenes once the two characters fall in love so if you aren't old enough you might want to check with your parents.

Laurell K. Hamilton is absolutely NOT_not_NOT appropriate for teen reading at all.  I wouldn't let my daughter touch those till she was out of High School.  Meanwhile...

The Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine (1st book is "Glass Houses") is really good

Charlaine Harris' books are good (the Southern Vampire Series is soon to be an HBO series)

lastly Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson books are good as well as her new Alpha and Omega series (not strictly vampires though)
