A partner? I don't think a 14 year old should have a serious relationship to be honest. I think a 16 year old could have one, but I would limit it to a 2 year age gap.

well i seen a question that some 14 year old was with a 37 year old (creepy) but i think its pointless for a 14 year old to have a partner anyway i mean they dont really love each other

Well, I know this sounds really corny but i believe if you truly love someone it doesn't matter. But, saying that anything above 15 years above it getting a little creepy.

for a girl, i think 17.

ive been on dates with 17 year olds and the ones i went out with were sooo great. and besides, girls mature faster then boys, so techinicaly its like dating someone the same age as you lol

for a guy, i think 15 or younger. well i guess they COULD date someone older then that, but i dont see what a 17 year old girl would want with a stupid little 14 year old boy rofl

I think a 14yo should only have a partner the same age. But I suppose it also depends on the teenager. A 14yo girl with an older boy can lead to trouble!

if its a girl, younger then 18, if its a guy maybe a year younger to the max and ANY age older

A 14 yr old has no business with a partner! If they choose a partner, they should be 14 or 15 at the oldest.

I would say two years since there is usually a pretty big difference in maturity level from 12--14 or 14--16.  But then again, there isn't a set age for maturity to kick in, so you may have to base this sort of thing on a case-by-case basis as long as it's legal.
