I want it to smell fresh but still boyish if you understand what I am driving at.

I have tried using fabreeze (only one type) and plain deodorants.

I left the window open for hours but it still just seems to smell stale.

I hoover everywhere once a week too.

ANY IDEAS?

  1. Your w*nk sock needs changing

  2. Mix some vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray everything down with it just like using the febreeze. You might want to wipe down the walls with some 409 and pledge the furniture. The vinegar will smell at first but will eliminate the odor.

  3. Burn incense sticks or cones in thew room.

    Incense gets rid of odours,

They are available in hundreds of scents

  4. identify the smell, feet or body or both, two showers a day and a clothes washing twice a week should fix your problem

  5. remove all trainers, dirty clothes/bedding, spray fabreeze.

  6. Lol my room is like that but I dont do half the things you do

  7. Open the window

  8. probly coming from the carpet get it cleaned properly

  9. Yes tell them to take their nocturnal emissions elsewhere.

  10. the hoover might actually be part of the problem, do you notice a smell from it when you use it? i need to get a new one because mine stinks lol but you can get air freshener type things you can use in them

also, have you cleaned you room, took dirty out clothes to get washed etc? because just spraying stuff and opening the window won't help if it's not actually clean in there

  11. Not much you can do really!

That's just a boys bedroom, as long as you keep it (and yourself) clean then it doesn't matter. :)

  12. have a fan next to the window

  13. I often find that all my troubles can be solved with............

    ..........fire.

  14. Don't use chemical deodorants as they will just add an extra smell to the existing ones.  Open the windows, clean very thoroughly behind and underneath the furniture, empty out the drawers and clean them, and wash the windows with a little vinegar.  Don't leave dirty laundry to fester, if you have laundry in your room, make sure the basket is emptied at least once a week.

Make sure to open the curtains every day to let the light in and open the windows as often as weather permits. The more light and fresh air you get in there, the less bad smells you'll trap.

  15. its a sign.

you smell so your room smells.

  16. Clean EVERYTHING.

Do you keep towels in your room after you use them? That contributes to a stale/moldy smell. I never put wet towels in the hamper, I hang them up on the shower curtain rod so they will dry out, and then I put them in the hamper to be washed.

Start by opening the window on a warm day (or a temperature that you do not mind working in.)

Fabric surfaces hold odors. Wash your bed sheets, comforter, and pillow cases. While your bed is stripped and the sheets etc are in the wash, spray your bed and pillows with Frebreze. I also occasionally spray the inside of our walk-in closet with frebreze to get rid of the stale smell.

Wipe down walls and clean all hard surfaces (windows, dressers, mirrors, chairs, tables, etc) with a cleaner (I use Windex Antibacterial Multi Surface cleaner, it smells like citrus).

Last, if you have carpet sprinkle it with a DEODORIZING powder (not just a scented one), let it sit for a little while (you can sweep it into the carpet if you want, I do this because I feel like it helps picking up more odors), then vacuum.

Also, if you have any work-out clothing etc. Please please PLEASE do not leave them to stink up your gym bag. Wash them AT THE VERY LEAST three times a week (and whatever you keep them in). Preferably everyday. Not only does it keep things smelling fresh, you lessen the chance of various sicknesses.

Now, if you do all that, things should smell better, and rather than having to do all that cleaning, all at once, you can just do weekly maintenance and daily laundry (or every other day, just don't let it pile up!) and things will stay fresh.

    Hope I helped!

    Good luck :)

  17. Clean it. Thats the only reason why it would smell.

Clear out dirty clothes, and food.

Put care freshiners in your closet, and dryer sheets in your droors, shoes, garbages, etc.
