Teenage girl bedroom ideas please?

Question

i am decorating my room very soon, and have no idea what i want it to be like

i am 15 and open to any ideas

that is what it is currently like, on the right there will be space as i am taking the built in coupbourds out, so the extra space is about witth of a double bed, and it is very deep

to the left there are big free standing shelves which will be removed

i want something more kind of serious and suitable

and ideas please :)

Good feng shui (Chinese technique of a peaceful room) is to have a soft green or yellow wall colors. Lots of candles and incense make it peaceful and comforting. Pillows on your bed gives it some flair and style. Make sure your bedspread isn't too flashy or it takes away from everything else. Don't get stuff too cluttered or it looks trashy. Posters on your wall make it look bad (trust me!!) so try pictures of friends or pictures of something suiting the feeling of your room, like something of nature. Also try some kind of plant in your room. It brightens things up a lot! A window is very good to have. Try open drapes around your window. Last, a large rug and a mirror are great, too.

hey im nearly 15 and my room is creme and a light brown but its two toned so 2 walls cream 2 walls brown with a border going through the middle and i think that unless you want to decorate it within another year or two go with them sort of colours coz it suits you when you get older and creme makes your room look a lot bigger but the brown brings warmth . hope this has helped xx

Hey!!

Try to pick few of your favorite colors. Maybe right above your bed make a huge design using those colors and you can leave the rest of the room like a beige. Too much of color can be distracting after a while.

You can also go with a theme ...pink flowers or like yellow and green ...make it related to nature

or

go for some like a princess kind of theme ...it should be a lot of fun ...you can use all colors and make it pretty.

Add other accessories like lamps, different lightings, nice curtains, carpets, nice dresser ( girls have too much make up and other junk ...lol ) etc.

i dont really know your choices and stuff but i just gave you the basic idea how to get started on it ...hope that helps you :)

well do you have a favorite band or singer. get posters of them.

do you have a favorite color(s)- if so paint your room with them.

so what kind of furniture do you like: soft, hard,plush, bean bags, etc. use that

Heyy...im also 15 so maybe have the same kinda taste.?! ..

my room is creme, black and gold..

very sheek and modern looking!...with creme walls, black bed frame, mirror and lamp shades, and gold accessories!

its a very warm, stylish look...and everyone that comes round compliments it! :)
