  1. Dont worry about what other people think of your taste.  Be adventurous.  What do YOU like?  What appeals or soothes you?  Surely, you are drawn to favorite colors and/or shapes.

  3. try dual color, upper light orange and lower light red orange. to go with other furn. you can put other item in green, just limit it.

  4. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

How about "white flour" (# 7102). That would make the red POP!

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  5. My room is hot pink with silver polka dots on one wall and personally i love it! It makes me happy lol. but really its up to you on the color. Maybe you could look at your clothes and see what colors you wear the most and find inspiration from that. hope i helped! =]

  6. keep the walls yellow

and put red strips one two of the walls

and then paint the wall with your door completely red

    that'll be so cute

    !!!!

    p.s make the stripes vertical!

  7. Do you not like yellow?

If your room has red furniture, it would be a little bit of an overload to paint it all red, so i would choose a neutral color with a greenish cast to it, then paint some circles of various sizes around your room in some of your other favorite colors. Just make sure to get some paint sampes and bring them home to compare with your furniture to make sure they don't clash.

  8. Go to Home depot and get some paint samples.  Think it over to decide.  You can also look on line at some pictures and then copy.
