Teenager looking for a job.

Question

I am 15 years old and will be turning 16 in April. Does anybody know where I can call around and look for a job a few day a week?

any local stores. it depends where you live really, if your parents have any pull anywhere, it would be smart to use it because finding a job is REALLY HARD.

i dnt kno where u can call but if u dnt get a job at any big time company..go to a local resturant and ask if they need people to put flyers in peoples door usually u would find a job there..remember the economie is bad so gettin a job at mc.donals or something like dat is nearly impossible

Work at a tanning salon.  It's easy work and you can do your homework at night when it's slow.

Why dont you call round local shops, see if they need any weekend staff or anything? Check in local papers too, sometimes they advertise for saturday peeps.

Restaurants nearby will probably hire you as a busser or a host.  And most places will hire you as a front desk clerk job or something.  Check out where your friends work!

That depends on where you live. Talk to your school about getting a work permit. You'll need one. That way if you get interviewed you'll know how to  make the next step (maybe you don't need a work permits in states other than CA?).  Just go to a place, in person, and make it clear you are enthusiastic and serious. Since you are young you have to assure them you are committed.

You will have a very difficult time finding a job other than fast food.

Sorry, but you probably won't get a job. Some places will turn you down as soon as you say you're 15. Just because you CAN work at 15 doesn't mean someone will hire you

And do not call in. Go in and ask.
