I'm 15, and ever since about 4 days ago, I've been having dull pains in the middle of my upper chest, and it hurts when I breath in. The pains also go to the right side of my neck and chest, and my right rib (under it). Any ideas? I know I couldn't have pulled a muscle, and I can't see a doctor for a while. Thanks in advance!

  1. i would go to urgent care or ER to rule out any heart problem but it might be indigestion or severe heartburn

  2. Chest pain is very vague, that's why seeing a doctor can narrow things down to offer best option for treatment, if need be. It could be a pulled muscle, yes, or it could be other things like asthma, pneumonia, acid reflux, etc. Please see a doctor, even if it means paying out of pocket.

  3. it could be growing pains. not to sound crass but you are still 'developing'. and it is all part of the growing up stage.

  4. go to an urgent care or ER.
