  1. Spend someone else's money!

More seriously, start with pen and paper. Write down how much money you get each week.

Make a list of all the things you buy each week. Then divide these into the ones that are a 'must have', 'things I want' and 'things I need'. There's a BIG difference between Want and Need!

Of all the things you have to have try and find places where you can get them cheaper or swap/share with friends.

Keep a note of everything you spend for a few weeks so you know exactly what you spend your money on. It soon mounts up without realising it.

If your budget doesn't cover everything then either make some cutbacks or get another job or source of income. You could even do something on the internet for money.
