Teenagers earning money quickly, helllpppppp :)?

Question

i'm 16 and have been trying for a long time now to try and find a job. it's impossible! i'm still on the job hunt but meanwhile i need some money as i literally have none and therefore am hardly ever out, it's getting me down!

i do babysit every now and again but then i use my babysitting money to pay people back for the money that they lent me, arghhhhhh :(

i do odd jobs around the home and my parents give me a small amount but it's not really enough to go out, have a good time or buy anything with, please help :D

any suggestions on how i could earn some money quickly??

(please no stupid answers like 'selling yourself' jeez cos those people make me feel sick)

1. Since you baby-sit already, start

a babysitters club.  Go in it with

a trusted friend.  When you're not

babysitting, she is.

Or, baby sit 2 or more babies

at a time, together.  

2. McDonald's, Wal-mart type

stores are always hiring.

3. Collect items no longer

wanted, and re-sell them.

Sounds like you need to learn how to budget, girlie.  You never want to continually borrow from people and be in their debt when you do have money.  You need to save, and appreciate the fun times you do have.  When you're an adult, life is not all about fun...if we go out once a month, it's a huge deal.  If you don't learn budgeting now, you're setting yourself up for a cycle of living beyond your means and credit card debt....and will be kissing a nice home, new cars, etc goodbye.

In any case, the babysitting is your best bet in this economy.  I literally pay my 16 year old babysitter half my take home pay for the day for watching my two kids a few days a week.  If she watched them everyday, she'd do better than me working 40 hours.

This doesnt get you big money or anything but it pays you to do what you allways do: search the internet. This website isnt a scam. Every couple minutes they award one of their searchers with a few points which can be redeemed for prizes.

There are many ways to make money. Online provides a great opportunity to make money. Free to join offers are available to you. Offers like google adsense which comes from google, paid surveys and paid to read emails etc would be enough for you to make money now. Google adsense is one of the great money making program available online.

Firstly I doubt that there are a lot of opportunities for an inexperienced 16 year old to legally make a lot of money in a short amount of time.  So settle with making not so much money in a large amount of time, some kids hate the thought of working in fast food areas, 'cuz they think its embarrassing for some reason,  well experience is experience so apply.  And after you apply wait a few days and then call them, don't wait for them to call you.  also check out online Monster and Career builder is great, but i have also found craigslist to be okay as well, just make sure that if you go to the actual place to apply bring an adult or one or two of your friends with you.  Also please learn to only buy important things that you need rather than want.  You can splurge on yourself, just not so often and not so much
