Happy Birthday!  I have a niece that celebrated a birthday today, as well.  She is 13.

I have a 16 year old nephew that works as a chef at a restaurant.  He started out washing dishes a year or so ago, and worked his way up.  

You could try a place where teens hang out, such as stores in the mall or the food court, places like Tastee Freeze/Dairy Queen, etc.  Or...instead of popular you could consider something unique-something you would enjoy.

Do you like animals?  You might be able to get a part time position at your veterinarians office.  Perhaps answering the phone, doing paperwork and/or cleaning kennels...there would be some fun stuff in it as well, such as playing with the animals.  It would look great on a resume for vet school!

Think of what you want in life, and try to choose something that will help you get there, rather than what is "popular".  Popular is for kids who can not be themselves-everyone tries to emulate others.  Be yourself, and let others emulate you.
