I'm not in high school anymore, but this is an interesting survey.

2) Why do you like it? Small, good staff

3) Why don't you like it? Boring, too much focus on sports and not enough on academics, unhealthy cafeteria choices (I lost a lot of weight in senior year and I contribute a lot of it to not eating lunch at school)

Teacher- Ms. Kimmel (my 9th grade french teacher)

Worst teacher- Mrs. Small (10th grade geometry teacher-- she never took time to give 1 on 1 extra help, never explained anything fully, and graded homework too harshly)

1) I go to public school. We have pretty good schools where I live though, and I only have one friend from elementary school who didn't come to my school.

2) I hated it my first year. Really, I just like my friends. And I love Humanities plus (advanced placement.)

3) Some of the kids are so mean. Also, I don't like the teachers that much, and our school is the oldest out of the whole district. I was upset because of the way they did the math placement test - it totally wasn't fair, but I'm still a year ahead for my state, but I'm still mad. It's not really a big deal though.

4) Favorite subject - language arts because I'm good at it.

Least favorite - I don't like science because it's gross. I didn't like my math class last year, because I was one of only 3 7th graders in the class, and so I wasn't really called on because they thought I was smart anyways. It was annoying. And my teacher was pregnant and hormonal. I also hate PE because I suck at it. At one point I had a C in PE, but don't worry - my final grade was an A- My favorite teacher EVER was from 3rd grade. At my school, the 6th grade communications teacher was awesome, and my advanced math teacher for 6th grade was cool too.

5) I don't know. It's just a middle school. We have some teachers that got awards, but not much. Our high school was voted best school spirit for our state though, so that was cool.

6) School is supposed to help you with that sort of stuff?

7) It would be bigger, more nice people, and different teachers and stuff. It's not that bad, I just don't like it for some reason. I find little problems in it, but when you say what can be fixed - there isn't much.

8) Not in school. Although, I was class president for 1st trimester in 5th grade, and I've got titles outside of school, but none school related now.

9) I had a role where I had lines and solos in the school play, I had the biggest solo in choir for one of the concerts. I make more accomplishments out of school than in. I'm not really active in school that much because I don't play sports. (health issues. I'm not just some lazy person.... I used to do gymnastics, but I had to quit.)

10) I don't know. I don't quite get this question, but there is a lot of dumb kids at my school. It's basically just the average public school - a whole bunch of kids in Abercrombie and Fitch and all that. Our school is really diverse though. There are kids from trailer parks, and then there are kids from million dollar neighborhoods, so it's really different. Me - as a person.... I don't really know. People call me smart, because I take AP classes, but people call me dumb because outside of acedemic stuff, I'm almost clueless. People do tell me I have okay style though, and I can sing and act.... and freak out when a bug touches me. I can also argue, and make stupid faces. But I don't talk alot in class. I don't really think too many people know me that well.

Oh yes, I've been in the Finals for Speeches few times before.  And we've won every tournament for volleyball. :)

1) It's a half-academy, half-learning center.

2) Because in the academy, there's only like 100 kids, and we all know each other, and everybody's pretty much friends with everybody. I don't really know about the learning center, but from what I see, everybody there is pretty enthusiastic, and very cool. =]

3) Although I love the kids in the LC just as much as my friends in the academy, they don't really care about school, and they bring down the school's GPA. It's the academy that's making the entire school look good. =(

4) My favorite subject was math, even though the work was super hard. It just gave me something to be proud of when I got it. My favorite teacher was definantly my SS teacher, Mr. Burr, because he was a hardcore liberal, and he wasn't afraid to speak his mind.

5) We're known for our Theatre Arts.

6) Being nicer to other people.

7) It's look!! Omg it looks like one of those 17th century castles in London. I wish it look more modern.

2. I like it because it's just as good as Private School. I guess that's why it isn't free....why they call it public is beyond me.

3. I don't like it because I sometimes feel they overload the homework.

4. My favorite subject is probably English because it is easy for me, and my worst subject is Math for the opposite reason. (woops, forgot to add this) My favorite teacher was Ms. Fredericks, the one I disliked most was Ms. Rauis.

5. My school isn't really notoriously known for anything. There's quite a variety - but I would suppose if I had to choose, it would be the football teams.

6. I don't know for sure if the school has helped me with this, but I certainly am not afraid to be myself. I guess the staff have some say to that.

7. Keep the crowded hallways a little less hectic.

8. I really don't have any official roles, but people often come to me for help.

9.  Well...? I have obtained about a 3.7 grade average, more or less, and I am the chick with mad artistic skills. I'm nothing that special...

I go to a public school.

There are no uniforms and you pretty much get to be who you want to be.

A lot of gossip and drama that goes around.

My favorite subject would have to be spanish and the worse would probably be biology. My favorite teacher was my english teacher, and my least favorite teacher was probably my math teacher.

Making the freshman feel comfortable and there very open to talk about anything and can always boost your self esteem.

I don't really understand this question, but I get good grades if that is what you are asking.

Oh you mean the school, it would probably be labeled as a druggy school.

2. It's really arty, there's almost no cliques, and we have really good athletic programs.

3. My parents pay full for my school, which costs about 20 grand plus books, trips, and other expenses and we've made pretty large donations to the school before. My teachers are always very friendly to me but I've noticed that there's a limit with scholarship kids. Basically the school respects families with deeper pockets more and that sucks.

4. My favorite subject would be Word Geography. It was pretty much the easiest class ever. My worst class would be Latin. We're required to take one year of it, so I wanted to get it over with. It was HORRIBLE.

5. Boys Varsity Basketball (won states and headmasters cup)

    Girls Varsity Soccer ( went to regionals)

     Boys Varsity Soccer (I can't remember. :] But they were in the paper.

     Girls Volleyball (it's a big thing here)

     Basically all arts, they' really stress arts here also.

6. Breaking out of stereotyping, becoming more "arty".

7. Respect. The teachers are only nice to the kids contributing to their paychecks.

8. Varisty Soccer Captain, SAC member.

9. Regionals for soccer, we got in the newspaper for SAC (Student Action Comittee)

10. Probably a surfer/prep. I'm not into Lacoste or anything, but I tend to lean towards the preppy style when at school. But then again, we can wear whatever we want, but tops have to be collared....
