No it's not worrying, i am a teenager myself and only a small minority of the people i know are the people you should worry about.

All of the attention gets pointed on the bad youths but not on the good youths.

They are rude and act the way they are because either like you said it's to impress others and to fit in, other times they act the way they act because that's the way that they have been brought up in, and that's just the way it's allways been. Its like they don't know how to act  differently and more mature.But saying all this, they all have grow up sometimes and when they become parents then they'll have to. Yes it is a bit worrying but they have to grow up because that's the way life is

Not all teens are rude. The majority are kind, mature individuals. The rude, immature few gain the lime light though. Which gives a bad impression. VERY annoying.

i feel its because their parents allow them

my mom doesnt play. she never hit me in my life but doesnt mean im not scared of her. if i dare rolled my eyes at her i would probaly end up crying at the end

Mostly it's just a phase that teens will grow out of. I have been there and done that yet I was horrified when my own children went through this phase. I just had to ride the storm. They are now all well adjusted and respectful adults. My post teen daughter (aged 25) is a parent and an excellent one too.
