When I was in high school, I sat with the so-called 'nerds' at lunch.

The self-proclaimed 'POPULAR KIDS' would send a friend of theirs over to the 'nerd' table to pester us.

The chosen 'popular kid' would start talking to the 'nerds' and briefly pretend to be their 'friend', while looking back at his 'popular friends' the whole time and snickering as if saying "CHECK THIS OUT! I'm talking to a LOSER!"

Then they would run back to the 'popular kids' and start saying things like "MAN DID YOU SEE THAT!?? I WAS TALKING TO THE LOSERS! THAT'S F******* hilarious! HAHAHA"

This happened EVERYDAY at my high school.

Did this ever happen at your high school? (or something similar)?

Explain.

  1. I briefly bullied in sixth grade but it was only because I was bullied pretty hard and I thought if I turned everyone's attention to someone else, people would stop picking on me. So I choose this really fat, awkward kid that had horrible allergies and used to p**s on himself in class. I feel really bad about it, especially when I saw the same kid a couple years ago mopping up the floor at Popeyes while murmuring and laughing to himself.

The way I was bullied was people would laugh at me and diss my clothes, hair, glasses, weight or whatever else was weird in their eyes about me.

  2. No. Doesn't sound familiar.

I used to bully myself, but never did I use these "methods". That's not how it was done back in my day.

  3. lol not to at my high school, everyone minded their own business with maybe a couple of kids (whom were my friends) would see a kid pass by and say

"Aiyo man look at that n***as pants dawg dem thangs runnin!"

or when a Mexican kid would pass by they would say

"Aiyo dawg hook me up with dem tacos fo I send yo a** back across the border, callin immigration now! xD"

Those kids aka my friends would just be playing around but I would say things like "Man chill out". A lot of those kids actually played around with everyone including each other, at my school, if you minded your own business, no one would really physically bully or bother you.

  4. kind of. i was considered one of the "in betweens" when i was in school. i was friends with both crowds. there was this guy a few grades ahead of me, who liked me. he would talk to me in the hall ways, and send little notes to me through one of his friends. this girl that was IN LOVE with him found out about it, and she was in the popular group in her grade. she tried to make my life a living h**l. she wrode the same tech-school bus as i did, and she made it a point everyday to laugh and make fun of me. and she got some of her buddies, which were my "so called" buddies to, to join in. she made it to where i didnt even want to go to school. but, i got over it when i found out she didnt graduate. that made me feel a little better :)

  5. Well my school was not really split up like the typical 'american film' but i did experience bullying of some sort.

When i first started i had trouble fitting in so i got picked on for being a loner or shy. Things thrown at me, tripped up in the corridors and silly things like that.

Then i made friends with what was known as the more 'popular' group and so people automatically assumed me were up ourselves and thought we were gorgeous etc

    This was just ridiculous.

We got called barbies purley because we wore make-up, and s***s because we were friends with allot of guys.

My friend had her windows smashed and bullies put another of my friends in hospital and admitted it was out of jealousy.

They'd spend so much time and effort trying to make people hate us and even a teacher once said to us 'you bring it on yourself for wearing make-up and being too sociable' :O

They'd hang out around us on the weekend threatening to 'kick our heads in' and so on...

    Pretty pathetic i must say.

You always get bullies of some sort but it's mostly down to their own insecurities. Allot of the time i thanked myself i was the victim of them rather than the actual disgusting bully themselves.
