  1. Yes I do know some in my area. There is a man named Dennis Debault or something like that who can be brought in to speak to local authorities about it.

There are also books about autism and puberty that you are geared for lower to mid functioning teens. You can look that up too. Also contact your state Austim Society for help. They can help you no doubt.

He has to understand that s*x is normal but it has to be mututal. He can't just force himself on someone the way he forces the to look at his car collection or shoot baskets. He probably does not see the difference.

My little brother liked to "hold himself" and we worked a long time on that from the time he was very little by "Ozer hands", and he would take his hands off himself and take them out of his pants.

I know of a girl who was so confused about it all she was soliciting men on the internet because she didn't understand what rape was and made the statment she "wanted to be raped". They are still working with her trying to teach her the difference. She is 20.

You could try to talk to Dennis Debault and ask him if he has any advice but the court may also be ale to help you. Obviously they can't and shouldnt put him in prison but they can get you both help and work with him to try to make him understand his urges are normal but put the in context of what is sociall appropriate.

In my area they have groups for that and the kids learn no means no and how to ask a girl (or boy) out and why you should not expose yourself. They go over things most of us know but kids with autism either don't know or often misunderstand.

    I hope everything goes ok.

  2. I am autistic but they call what I have HFA. I go to a school for people with autism and they have people come in and talk to us. First they talked to the girls and then to us. Then they waited and came in again.

It was kind of funny but they told us stuff about how not to touch people and what is nice and not nice. We had to do worksheets.

Did he do anything like that at school to teach him?

They gave us handouts that were in words and PECs so everyone understood. Everyone in my class can read and write. Some of us really good and others not so good. Not everyone can speak but I can. Everyone had to do the worksheets and it did sort of help because I really never talk to girls or anything and so it answered some questions. Maybe you can get someone to talk to him about it like that so that he understands.

  3. Has he recieved any form of s*x ed. It may be that he doesn't understand what's happening to him and therefore is unable to control it.

If you want to help him understand get a book called "Secret Boys Business" it's about the changes boys go through during puberty and is written for boys with special needs.

I flicked through the girls equivalent and it was pretty good. So I'm guessing the boys one should be as well.

I'm not a parent but I have worked with teen boys with autism who were around the same age as your son.
