Teeth Whiteners after braces????

Question

Ok so I am getting my braces off in 6 days (haha I am counting down the minutes!!) and I know that I am either going to use Crest White Strips or Rembrandt White Strips. I was wondering, will I be able to use the white strips the morning AFTER I get my braces off or am I supposed to wait longer? Also, are there any other whiteners out there that are better (DO NOT SAY GET IT PROFESSIONALLY DONE)? And which is better...trays or strips??

wait about a week then start whitening it because after you have your braces off your teeth feels slimy for about a week.  I would use the tray because you might spend more money trying out the strips that does not give enough results that you want to achieve.

if you do us trays don't use it to much, because it wears away the enamel on your teeth. after your teeth are white dont use the trays. Only use them every now and then.

You may want to wait a day or two.  When you get your braces off, your gums may be raw from them poking and prodding around in your mouth...and you dont want to use tooth whitening products if your mouth is sore. But a couple of days should be plenty of time. :)

I havent ever used trays, just strips, so I cant compare.

i got my braces off this morning, and i would definitely NOT suggest you start a whitening system yet. my gums are soo sore & stuff, i cant brush my teeth lightly without them bleeding :(

BUT, my brother used crest whitestrips about 3 weeks after he got his braces off & they realllllly worked well for him. :)

Rembrandt has a more sturdy strip that stays on much easier than crest. These are good and can be used immediately after having braces removed, but work best after your teeth have been cleaned. If your teeth get sensitive try doing a fluoride rinse immediately after removing the strips.  No rinsing, eating, or drinking for at least 30 minutes after the fluoride rinse. For fast results do the strips 2 times a day for 30 minutes and for the fastest do the 30 minutes back to back. Just wear the first strip 30 minutes, ditch the second and put a new one on for 30 more minutes.

Congrats(: Crest White Strips work very well. I'm pretty sure it's fine to use them right afterwards.
