Teeth Whiteners?

Hey all,

I smoke and i'd like to whiten my teeth so i think i will buy some teeth whiteners. What are the best brands to use and is it safe to use them over an extended period of time?

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken. I found the information at http://www.aches.in/toothwhitening.html

While I can't really comment on the amount of time they can be used (though I remember my dentist saying something about the chemicals in them being not so strong), I can recommend what product NOT to use: Listerine White Strips. I found them to be messy, they didn't dissolve and I didn't find they actually worked well. I ended up writing a letter to Listerine and getting my money back.
