Teeth help please!has to do with getting braces!

Question

Hello people,I just went to the orthodontist today to get more info on when to get my braces and all that and he gave me 2 options,they can either pull 2 teeth and wait for a while and then put the braces. Or they can put on the braces right away and give me a head set to where only during the night,I'm leaning to the 2nd option and save my teeth but i need a little help =D

so you would rather wear a head set?.. ppl that have braces usually have them for years. i would oull out 2 teeth. cuz wat if they give u that headset, but afterwards you have to pull out ur teeth cuz it porbably didnt work right?.

My niece has a headset that she wears to bed at night. They're slowly pulling spaces into her mouth for the extra teeth. It's not that bad she says, so I'd lean towards #2 too.

I would go for the pulling, it will uncrowd your mouth (which is most likely the reason you would need a head set) and cause you less pain from the headset being adjusted. Waiting, yes, that would be bad because you have to have the braces on longer, but in the long run it would work out.

the 2nd option sounds much better! if i were you i would try to save my teeth. If it is possible. good luck in making the choice. also think about how comfortable/uncomfortable the head set will be.

I had 2 teeth pulled before my braces went on and I came out with a perfect smile. Sometimes there's just too many for your mouth. They won't leave you with holes or anything. You'll be happy with the results. And just think, when you're having to pay for dental procedures when you're all grown up, it will cost you less because you have less teeth!
