  1. Bite on a clean Handkerchief for 30 minutes , if bleeding did not stop . Call your dentist .

If bleeding stopped , you are advised not to disturb the blood clot , eat soft and cool food .

Mouthwashes with water and salt help cleaning your mouth ( along with tooth brushing away from the sockets ) and helps healing of your extraction sockets , continue for 3 to 4 days .and then return back to normal tooth brushing .

  2. Yes the bleeding is normal

Try washing your mouth with salt water for a couple of days...then you can brush your teeth again

Or, just brush the teeth without touching the gums of the pulled out teeth. Wash your mouth with salt water though to prevent infections

  3. let the swelling go,drink cold stuff icecreame etc,and then itll be ok,Best of Luck itll be ok

  4. My dentist informed me that I could use warm wet black tea bags to put in the areas where the teeth were removed to help the blood clotting process.

Oozing is normal for up to 18 hours after the extractions.

Today, at noon, you will be able to rinse with warm salt water.

I would wait at least 72 hours to begin brusing them again.

I know it may taste horrible, but the bad taste for a few days would be better than the extreme pain of a dry socket if you brush too soon.   Good Luck!

  5. It takes time for the oozing to stop. You need to be very careful not to loosen the clots that are forming. I had surgery done a long time ago to have some teeth removed. My dentist gave me some extra gauze and said I could clean my teeth with that, the bristles of the toothbrush could remove a clot if you accidentally get too close.
