Teeth whitening at the dentist?

Basically how much does it cost in the UK, my teeth are yellow and im really depressed about it. I do smoke, but do not drink coffee, red wine, etc. Can someone please help?

I was quoted £350 for moulds and bleach method, £550 for laser.

The dentist recommended the moulds method as you can do it a bit longer if the desired shade isn't reached, whereas the laser method is a one off, so if you're not happy you'd have to do it again for another £550.

you know the answer to this: stop smoking.  it's much more than your teeth at stake - you smell lousy, your skin is being wrecked, and your lungs are becoming tarpits.  your depression goes beyond your teeth and when you can get a handle on this and the nature of your addiction, you're on your way to good general health.  

but if you insist on bleaching your teeth, buy those little strips they sell at the drug store (Crest brand among others)
