Question:

Teething: What was worse?

I swear, there is not enough infant Tylenol in the world to get my daughter through this. She's cutting her top two eye teeth, and they're refusing to come through. She's been at them for over a week now.

What was worse for your kids? First tooth, molars or the eye teeth? And if anyone has any remedies, PLEASE, they're very much welcome.

  1. Eye teeth were the worst by far.  My little one had a fever for the entire two weeks it took for them to poke through.  We did Tylenol every 4 hours, rubbed some baby orajel on them before bed (I don't think it worked all that well), and gave her lots of cold things to eat and drink.  I'd put an ice cube in one of those feeding bag things and let her suck it down to nothing.

I wish I could give you some better advice!  I know it is hard to see her go through this, just remember that it will pass and your little angel will never remember it.  =0)

  2. Get a washcloth, dip one end is clean water, them freeze. You can let her chew & suck on the frozen end while holding on the other dry end.

Also, I LOVE the homepathic teething stuff, called Camilia. It's in a little dropper and, I have no idea how it works, but it does.

When my daughter started teething, friends recommended it, and I've been recommending it...everyone loves the stuff, and since it's homeopathic, I feel better aboput giving it to my kids.

I already bought it for my son who is just starting to teeth now...

  3. I have four kids and never really had problems with teething but I also used frozen fruit and wash clothes. I hope this helps,Good luck, it does get better

  4. I have a 16 month old daughter. So far, four teeth up front, on top and bottom, and the molars. No eye teeth but the molars were the worst so far!
