Teething necklaces for babies?

Question

My son is now 3 months old and i bought him a teething necklace for when time comes. I was wondering from other parents who's had kids before what they think of those necklaces? And if u leave it on when they go to bed or go for a tub? I'm a first time mom and ive personally never used them.

I am a mother of three and all three have worn the dime necklace including my son that is 7 months old. It is a family tradition that all the babies wear a dime necklace. i have always been told that the dime helps with the pain/irritation from teething. I myself wore one when i was a baby.
