Teixeira to the Halos?

Atlanta trades Tex to LAA for Kotchman and a minor leaguer. Does this make the Angels the team to beat in the AL?

As long as their health stays good they are the team to beat and probably were quielty the team to beat before the deal went through.

Yes. Without a doubt. I'm an Atlanta fan, and I personally think we were kinda ripped off. If the Angels had thrown in a really good prospect on top of what they gave us, then I would be fine. Angels fans should be happy. Their team is now absolutely sick, and they got a big improvement at 1B for relatively cheap.

well, the angels basically just lost a really good player who good do really good for them, but mark texiera is still better then kotchman

They may have been the team to beat before the trade and now I have to believe they are clearly the favorite if they can stay healthy.

Considering that they have won something like 5 straight over the Sox, then I would say that they have a good chance.  Tex just makes them more dynamic.
