Telebid is it a con?

Has anyone used this site, is it any good want to buy a LCD tv but sounds really cheap user feedback would be good thank you.

you pay to bid, so the product might be say  ÃƒÂ‚£  25 pound, but its like 50p  to bid so it depends on how many bids you make....

Work on the principle of : If it sounds to good to be true - then it is to good to be true. You get nowt for nowt.

I've seen the site but never used it.

Instead of a con, I would say it's a gamble. As each bid is 50p, you are in effect, betting 50p each go that you're going to bag a bargain. I think you have to just put a limit on the number of times you bid and stick to it. If you don't win, you accept it and walk away.

However, when you do the maths, you can see what a result it is for the operators. I worked out that on one Nintendo Wii they made over £600 profit!!!
