Telecaster.?

Question

I'm thinking about buying this guitar.

It's like, $399.

On Musiciansfriend at least.

But I don't really know much about it.

I know, how to play guitar, but I need some review on it.

Can you please gimme a sum-up if you have it?

When I get my telecaster,

I'm going to buy a Line 6 Spider III 15w.

I also want to know the difference between the pickups.

I can't tell if there's one or two.

Is it basically like a stratocaster with those picksups?

And could I change them up with like,

Alnico Humbuckers,

Like they have on a Les Paul?

First, the telecaster has 2 pickups. One small one in the front and another one hidden under the bridge cover.

Why change the pickup on the telecaster. The beauty of that guitar is its sound. It is not like a stratocaster. Far from it.

The little Spider amp is a good buy but tends to distorts a little.
