Telemarketer on my Caller ID?

There is some number from Birmingham Alabama that keeps calling my house during the day. When I try to redial the number it tells me that the number isn't in service. I figure it is someone trying to run a scam. Has this happened to anyone else?

If its a telemarketer..answer it (whenever you can) and tell them to take you off the phone list..OR put on your voice mail that you want to be taken off ANY telemarketers phone list.

I know what you're talking about. I get the same thing. And most often telemarketers have blocked numbers so I don't even answer the phone.
