Telemarketers / caller id?

Question

is it just me or can you tell if its a telemarketer when they call you, for example whenever a telemarketer calls and i pick up their is a brief pause before they say anything just utter silence... (which isnt realy a bad thing because i dont have to listen to their c**p) but more often then not thats all i'll get complete silence! anyways i'm getting annoyed like crazy because i dont know if its telemarketers or someone that got a hold of my number and is prank calling what should i do? i dont really want to pay 10$ a month for caller id

Go to this web site to get on a national "DO NOT CALL" list.  www.donotcall.gov.  Also google your state name with do not call next to it and sign up for your state "Do Not Call" list.

did you already sign up for the do-not-call-list.com???? but remember...it takes several month until you will see any relieve!
