I have a relative that is hard of hearing and was wandering if there is a phone I could purchase that would help her to hear the conversation better.

  1. Yes, there are such things around - try contacting the National Society gfor the Deaf - I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.


  2. you can go to any electronic store and ask if they sell amplified telephones for the hard of hearing, or go to a pharmacy that has an electronic selection.

  3. You can buy a phone that has a volume control. A phone with a speakerphone or handsfree feature normally has a volume control.

    Most telephones are hearing aid compatible so your relative may opt to use a hearing aid gadget.
