Telephone Line?

Can someone help? my dog chewed my bt telephone line yesterday, do you no if i will have to pay to get it fixed? and how long does it usually take for bt to fix this problem?

  1. Any problem up to the box to your house is no charge..you could cut your line 77 times and we wouldnt charge you..we want your lasting service and money..your outside line is probably has blue and blue white and orange and orange white..just put the colors together some how color for color and typically I will come out quicker than 2 days..hint..if your dog is in the yard and even looks mean..it might be 2 weeks!!

    Another hint....make it easy for me too fix...have it clearly marked where in the yard if hidden..making it easy on me..and you will get better service..


  2. If it  is inside the house you can re-connect it yourself. The colours of each wire are very plain to see, make sure you connect colour to colour.

    Connectors are available at DIY shops or good electrical shops.

  3. outside the home, then technically it should have been buried so the dog could not get to it.. .. i know that when i was mowing my backyard it got chopped in the mower and it took them about a week to get it fixed and did it no charge since it should have been buried.
