You will find they do not answer the phone but refer you to a premium rate number, which is contracted to provide information for them. Also, if you turn up there, you will usually find a queue a mile long. The queue starts to form at 0730 each day. They open from 0900-1200. If you are still queuing when they close, they will simply close the door and you will have to return another day.

Like the visa sections of all the embassies in London, they treat you like dirt.
