Telephone the hearing impaired?

I need to contact someone that is hearing impaired through the telephone. How do I go about doing this without buying any special equipment? Thanks

run it thru a deaf communications center! they're pretty easy to get too try a google search. basicly you talk and someone listens to the entire thing and types it down for a deaf person to recieve. My mom's done this, and you wouldn't believe how much phone s*x deaf people get into

Call your local phone company.. There is a service that will take your words and type them out for your friend who can't hear. The hearing impaired person needs teh special eqiptment.
