Here are the choices used to fill in the black. I cannot find the information online that shows what each function is.

  1. 1. A refractor uses just lenses so it could be the primary lens. But the primary lens refracts light towards the eyepiece, so in either case, lens or eyepiece could be said to collect the light of a refractor.

    2. The primary lens of a refractor determines the diffraction limit (or resolution) of the telescope.

    3. The secondary (or diagonal) mirror directs light towards the observer (via the eyepiece).

    4. The primary mirror collects the light in a reflector.
