Television Broadcasting?

For live broadcasts, what did television cameras use, 35mm film,or what?, and how would they even record any of it, especially pre-1970s....

And could film really be processed to be transmitted instantaneously with ought development?.

  1. Television, by definition, does not use film cameras. They use TV cameras and in the early days used a system called Kinescope recording.This was a TV camera that could directly record to tape.
