I bought a Philips television on 17/8/2004 and started giving problem this November. When I called service centre technician visited and said EST Transformer problem which will cost me Rs.1,550/-. I called other technician. According to him there is some chip problem and the whole kit is china made.

Can I beleive this technician? Is Philips luring people?
