Television Sound Problems?

Question

I have a Poloroid LCD television. When I turn it on it has a high pitch whining for a minute then it fades out, but now I have no sound for anything connected to my Television?

Sorry bud but you get what u paid for polaroid tvs are not good tvs They do make good cameras. you should of got sony or sharp

Its sounds like a typical Polaroid problem.  My in-laws had a Polaroid LCD, the picture went out on it.  Which it sounds like something internally wrong with the unit.  The first thing I would try is switching the inputs to see if that resolves it, if it does not, it is likely something internal.  If you are still under warranty call Polaroid, if not do what my in-laws did, they bought a new Samsung LCD from digitaldealz.net under my suggestion, as I had just bought a 52" Samsung LCD from them and was thoroughly pleased!

sounds like your sound is broken and i heard it happens alot on poloroid lcd tvs. i suggest hooking a sound sound system up and besides it will sound better like that anyway. thats what i did.
