Television set question?

We just got a big screen and on the top right hand corner its displaying the words aux and the channel number. I've looked on the remote and there is no aux button and we can't figure out how to make it go away. Could there be something in the menu screen or something? Any help is great thanks.

AUX means Auxiliary input. Like a VCR, DVD player, Game console etc. You should be able to change the channel. There might also be a button on the remote "input". Push it till it changes to TV. Or if you have a cable or satellite box keep pushing it till you see the channels.
