Television technical problems. PLEASE HELP!?

I've had my tv for 2 1/2 years and now all of the sudden on about 5 channels when i flip to them i hear sound for about 2 seconds and then i get no sound at all, and if i go to another channel and flip back the sound comes back for 2 seconds and goes away again. Does anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?

wow! sounds like you have an antique TV with the old style turret tuner. If so, you need to have the tuner cleaned or serviced.

Well your tv only has technical dificulties if it is owned by a noob so what you need to do is start becoming a noob slayer and then it will go away. Believe me it will work.

Your television may have an option for SAP (Secondary Audio Programming).  Please make sure it is not on this option as this may cause the problem you are having.  Other problems could be with the TV itself and may require service.
