Tell Me Everything I Need To Know About Breeding Hamsters..Please

Hey I am very interested in learning the correct way to breed hamsters not because I want to make money like most people that don't take the time out to take the best care of the female hamster and the baby hamsters after birth I am interested because I love hamsters I have had about 14 hamsters in the past now I just want to find out everything there is about breeding hamsters like how you get them to have the babies how will you get them to get along if they don't know eachother or how will you care for the babies when they are born everything I need to know about breeding hamsters I am willing to take any amount of time to learn how to do this exactly how it should be done before I go and try to do it without knowing anything about it let me know what you know your experiences any links you know any piece of information will be helpful...Thanks!

What you need to do is find a hamster breed and communicate with that person. Absorb all they know. This is not something to jump into lightly. How much money do you have? You'll need to have a lot of money "just in case" something goes wrong with a birth and you need to take one or more hamsters to the vet. You need to be prepared to keep all of the hamsters you get from a breeding, in case something falls through with owners. You need to get potential owners BEFORE you breed the hamsters, NEVER after. Pet store hamsters are NEVER suitable for breeding. Only breed hamsters whose lineage you can trace, who you have gotten from a responsible breeder.

This is only very basic stuff.

I am not a hamster breeder, so I do not know everything. I only know enough to know that breeding is not something I can afford right now. It's very time consuming and costly when done correctly.

1.  dont breed until you have buyers, otherwise you will end up with mroe pets than you want.
