Tell Me Later to land the Greyhound Sporting League – Leg 4 at Nottingham
The fiercest entry for the Grade A2 Greyhound Sporting League – Leg 4, is the two-year-old, Tell Me Later. Accompanying her on the track for the 500 metres flat race on Friday, 29th June will be Catherines Tank, Racecourse Road, Impala, Magna
Drumbeat and Salacres Henry.
The winner at Nottingham tonight will get to take home the £114 prize money.
Duke Special’s brindle daughter had the major chunk of her racing experience during the 2012 campaign. She rolled into the new season on 2nd January in a Grade A3 500 metres flat race at Nottingham but could not pull out victorious from the challenge.
She ended fifth after racing for 31.86 seconds.
Her first seasonal success was in a Grade A5 500 metres flat race on 3rd March at Nottingham. She took control of the track distance in 31.31 seconds and won by a length’s margin.
Following really close behind was, Copyover. The favourite of the race, Droopys Affair, ended third, and raced for 31.55 seconds.
The two-year-old then struck a back to back, first leg of which came in on 31st March in a Grade A4 500 metres flat race at Nottingham. Tell Me Later reached the other end of the wire in 31.29 seconds, and enjoyed the lead of 1 ¼ lengths.
Finishing the closest after racing for 31.39 seconds was the runner up, Carrowkeal Rex.
On 10th April, she won a Grade A4 500 metres flat race at Nottingham by clocking the track distance in 31.19 seconds. Missing the race by just half a length was, Fabulous Tally.
From 20th April to 19th June, the two-year-old ended third only once otherwise her rankings fluctuated between the first and second score.
Entered as the favourite, she took 31.13 seconds to conclude the Grade A4 Duncan Player Marriage Stakes on 26th May at Nottingham and took charge of the final 1 ¾ lengths.
A Grade A3 500 metres flat race had her winning in 30.96 seconds on 11th June at Nottingham.
Her recent consistency level is reliable and the third position in the most recent race will sure have her tuned for claiming the very next one and settling accounts.
