  1. i dont know why im a cashier and wow  get alot of mean customers i`m never mean to people i would never act like the people i get in my line so rude that people would treat someone that way for no reason but that they r in a hurry

  2. Maybe a customer has had a run in with a cashier in the past....so to get back they take it out on all cashiers....

No excuse l know...but this could be an answer to your question. There again some people are just arrogant and plain rude, and cannot see this side of themselves........

  3. There are many many many reasons. Discrimination, a bad day, result of miscommunication, etc. I've come to the conclusion you will always run into these people and at some point I'm sure I'll be that person at least one time. It happens, don't let it ruin your day and move on.

  4. Because they inconsiderate.

  5. Because they have to have a job.

  6. anger problems

    bad day

    stress

theyre just a ***** cuz thats them

    lol

  7. have they moved their bowels yet?   some of us get really irritated and stopped up when we cant "go"  so we think its the whole worlds fault for not being able to "clean out the old pipes"......so if you see me, dont take it personally, if i am mean, i am just stopped up!  i am drinking prune juice as we speak.  goodbye.

  8. lets assume the case of a clerk  taking  a  food order  for  example, if you didnt  listen to  an order first and just  started  telling  them you  can have  this or  that  and  just  spewing  out  the  specials and  confusing  him, that  can drive  people  nuts. often  they  have  stood  there  for  five  minutes  reading  your  menu. they  know  what they  want

if  they  are  unsure  and  you  have  people  behind  them  you    are  entitled  to  say  "if   you  need  more  time then  perhaps  i  can  come    back  to  you in  a moment"

You  are  there to process  the  order  the  customer wants  NOT  tell him  what  he  wants.  if  he  is  confused about  something  he  will  ask. he is  old  enough to  know his  own mind

after  he  has  completed  his  order and  you realize you  can save  him  money by ringing  it  in  as  a combo then  just say  that.  dont give him math  problems  to  solve

and  dont  give  him  a song  and  dance about  substitutions.  and  extra offers either

he  wants  what  he  ordered. its  your  job  to  ring  it  in the  way  it should  be.

  9. Maybe they are just a super rude person who has had a bad day or somethin hasn't gone the way they decide to take it on other people who they will probably not see agian so there for they don't have to deal with them

  10. As Jack Nicholson's charchter said to Adam Sandler's character in Anger Management: "There are two types of anger, there explosive and there is implosive. Explosive is the customer who beeches out the cashier if they don't get the right change. Implosive is the cashier who takes it day in and day out, never flinching. Until one day they bring a gun to work and go on a shooting spree......."

Some people are just so tightly wound and eventually they will blow a gasket. What I say is if you are the cashier, don't blow up at the customer, but when you get home take your frustration out on a dart board. If you are the customer, try picturing yourself in the cashier's shoes and see how you would feel.

  11. Maybe she's rude and bitchy and it has absolutely nothing to do with you....

  12. Because they have little to no impulse control - and some people seriously believe that if they are having a bad day, no one else has a right to be having a good one - sothey spread their nastiness all over the place.

And some folks are just nasty all the time, no matter what.

  13. Some people are just rude like that. They feel like they are above other people and talk down to them like they're idiots or something. It has nothing to do with the other person and everything to do with the person being rude. I think it's a self esteem or control issue.

  14. Good question... You have no idea how many times this runs through my head.

I hate to say it, but being around people I realized that everyone thinks that they're "bad". But there are other factors that contribute to rudeness which is 80% true that the person may be experiencing a bad day. Also, some people have no manners! Somehow this refers back to the "bad" thing.

I (and I'm more than sure other people) find it mean, and hurtful especially when you're having a good day or a really horrible day. I also noticed that some people interpret things differently.

Ex: A cashier may ask a customer for their identification card. The customer may complain because he/she believes that the cashier does not see them as credible.

    It's stupid, really.

  15. Some people have a perpetual chip on their shoulder.  They are actually angry at themselves for who knows what reasons.  Since they can't deal with this they take it out on someone else.  I tend to avoid this type of person.  They are a colossal pain in the butt and altogether unpleasant.
