  1. shower with friend (friends)

  2. make sure taps are off, don't flush on one use, fill a cup of water to use for brushing teeth, Keep a jug of water in the fridge for drinking instead of running water until its cold, put a brick in the toilet to use less water (get a water saving toilet) keep laundry loads until its a full load, same for dishwasher. Limit your showers , reduce the water level in the bath, put a rain barrel in the yard to water plants etc....um dunno...=)

  3. if you do take a bath use the water to flush the comode, take your hose to the washer drain and fill up buckets with your washwater good for outside plants and comode.like everyone else said. wash your hair in rainwater , take a shower in the rain,

  4. If it rains collect water in a bucket and use it later, other than that turn off the taps when you brush your teeth( in between) and other than that buy alot of water bottles. :)

  5. * don't leave the water running while you brush your teeth.

    * when you finish a drink with ice let the ice melt in the cup then use it to water house plants.

    * in addition to getting a water saving shower head you can get wet.  Turn off the water.  Lather up, then turn the water back on or a quick rinse.

    *  If your clothes aren't soiled or smell of perspiration wear them two times before you launder them.

    *  If you have water left from cooking things such as pasta or veggies let it cool them use it to water outdoor plants.

    *

  6. 1. well the most important thing to do is when you wash or put dishes in the dishwasher, try doing that later in the day like maybe before you go to bed or like after dinner, or basically when the sun goes down.

    2. when you brush your teeth, while your brushing, turn water off.

    3. when you take a shower/washing your hair, when you don't need the water either turn it off or turn it down to low.

    4. when washing clothes, try not to use so much water, maybe put it on one of the low settings.

    5. if you like to drink water, GREAT!! but if you drink tap water, put it in a container so you don't always have to go to the sink and get the water. and/or you can also get water at the stores.

    6. when you water your garden (if you have one) water it the night before the next day because at night since it's dark, very little water will evaporate and the plant(s) will save the water untill a change of temp.

ok i hoped i helped! good luck!

Thanks for wanting to :-)  Bless you!

  8. Purchase a water tank large enough to sit beside your home; collect the water off the roof when it rains and use it for your toilet, washing machine etc, cleaning the car etc.etc.etc.

Until the rain comes; place a brick,or med sized rock, in your toilet cistern and this will save water each time you flush.

Purchase one of those colored toilet bowl flushing items and don't flush so often.

    Have showers, not baths.

  9. Shorter showers, don't leave your hose on when filling the pool, don't leave the sprinklers on for too long, don't take baths, when brushing your teeth or washing your face, don't leave the water running.(:

  10. here's a good one. i got it from a friend. every time you shower, obviously don't put the water on super hot ( only warm because it wastes energy)  and when you first get in have the water on for a few minutes and then turn it off. Apply shampoo to your hair at this time b/c u don't need water to APPLY shampoo anyways. Then, once your scrubbed the shampoo in, turn the water back on (the hot water should still be goin if you only do this for a minute). Soak a little onger and then turn it off to apply conditioner/bodywash/soap/razors. when finished, turn the shower on again.

THE TRICK IS> when you first get in the shower, leave the shower on for enough time so steam developes and heats up the bathroom ( this still works with a fan on). That way, when you turn the water off to apply shampoo ect, you won't freeze!

    enjoy!

  11. drink your own urine.

  14. Put a brick or 2 at the bottom of the back of your toilet tank inside...

    Shower Less

Get a lesser water using shower head

Don't run the water a lot

  15. don't flush the toilet, take shower with 5 or more other people, or don't shower at all.  drink Gatorade instead of water.  close the tab for 23 hours every day
