1.you can easily seperate the iron fillins using a magnet.

2. put the mixture of sand ans salt into water.

3. decantate it and be sure the liquid is collected.

4. boil the liquid so that salt will remain.

Remove iron with a magnet

Dissolve remainder in water. Put through a sieve to get sand.

Boil off the water to get the salt
